    @DoctorZombies of all the beer I've had that said it tasted just like something that one
    takes the cake,literally. Definitely sweet but again just like cake and vanilla icing in a bottle

    It's quickly becoming Autumnal in metro NYC. Had a wonderful time at the Wolf & Warrior Brewery in White Plains on Saturday (sorry, no pics) and came back with this: Patagonia, billed as an Argentinian Golden Ale. Different and delicious, like this:

    Monday is here, hope all here have a nice beer or two to enjoy today.

    Making lunch and pulled out this Chicago brewed WCIPA, The Sound brewed by Maplewood Brewery.

    Didn't plan on buying beer today, but a kind BA posted in the Goose Island thread of a discount on 2019 Bourbon County, so I will likely venture out and attempt to buy a few bottles of Cafe de Olla, one of my favorites from last year and all time in the BC series.

    The bottom line is, you only live once, you may as well go LARRRGE!

    375 ml. bottle.
    7.9% abv (as per label.)
    Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 1/2 inch slightly off-white head over a pinkish cranberry color body with just a tiny bit of haze with some lacing. Nose of blueberry, slight citrus, and the slightest touch of funk. Wonderful flavors of blueberry, lemon, and a bit of candied lemon and blueberry on the finish. Nicely tart with a great mouthfeel for a wild ale. Served with Maine oysters on the half shell. Recommend highly (and good luck in your quest to secure this gem!)

    Love the sentiment: Get this party tarted! Sadly, Peach Tart is my very last can from Tree House Brewing, which I suppose simply means that I need to head back for another beer run. Actually, after sitting in the can 4 months, reminiscent of a(n unadulterated) Berliner Weiss. In keeping with the sunny theme (it's on the Argentinian flag, after all:

    Zesty & Bitter. West Coast IPA from Cloudwater (Manchester, UK). Amstel glass in the backgrond is wife's Cuvee de Trolls.
    Still had some hope to get to Manchester later this fall. And maybe even meet up with some of you. But all planned international travelling (for work that is) has been abandoned for the rest of this year for obvious reasons.

    Perhaps the most controversial beer of the month.. I drank 11 this is number 12. Not what I was expecting but not bad either.
