Just rolled into the Urban Beer Garden. Cowiche Canyon is expected to go on tap at 5 pm.

Starting with the Full Nelson and will try the FH FtF Centennial/Sabro next.

Well time to add another beer to the Tier 1 of 2020 Fresh Hop Beers. FH Built for Speed.... fantastic beer (used Fresh Hop Centennials) which is not surprising as this was one of my favorite WC IPAs, but unfortunately Draft Only from what I understand. Absolutely worth seeking out.

In general it seems to be if you have a really good base beer (Punk Rock Time, Elliott, Built for Speed, or Volatile Substance, all Breakside IPAs) and add fresh hops, chances are you are going to get a pretty outcome.

Cowiche is up on Fremont’s site. $15 for a 6 pack. Grabbed one and will pick it up tomorrow.

Just ordered my two 6-packs of Cowiche, the one beer that I said in post 2 of this thread I cared about getting this year. And yet, somehow, I've managed to try seven others with two more in the beer fridge. That's an even 10, and possibly a good number to stop at. Fresh hop season has been hard on my credit card this year.

Wetwired and HFOFH are the only one other ones I definitely need to get. Anything else is just a cherry on top.

The Cowiche lives up to it's hype. This is heaven for my birthday. Thank you BAers! Apparently I can get two sixers tonight and two tomorrow before I head back.

Well considering how well I am hoping the Seahawks will do this year ... I guess 12 fresh hop beers would be a more appropriate number.

Just opened my first can of Cowiche Canyon. Outstanding, just as good as ever in my opinion. 2020 doesn’t completely suck after all.

Yeah, it's really good. I think it's on top of my list now.

Also picked up some fresh hops at Bottleworks, if you're curious about their current selection:

Stoup Fresh Hop Fiend (Simco) IPA

By the way...happy birthday! Glad you got to try it. Did you get hold of any of the Crikey or anything else?

If you're able to swing it, the fresh hop festival in Yakima every year (except this year) is an experience I would recommend.

This will be a stop before I leave tomorrow.

Had a great Goat cheese pizza at Fiasco to soak up the Cowiche.

Looks like Reuben's is six minutes away.

I'm staying at citizenM which has a tiny refrigerator and everything including the window shade is controlled by the iPad. I hope this place isn't too high tech to have an ice machine.

Kind of feel like I can't leave UBG until the neon sign comes on.

So the first parking spot I found near Reuben's is across the street from Stoup. Stoup it is.

Stoup has FH Simcoe, FH Centennial, and FH Strata.

I just went all in on Simcoe cuz that has to be the freshest and certainly my first FH Simcoe this season.
