The Benwood with a short shot of Teremana small batch tequila on taco Tuesday. I would be doing all of you a disservice if I didn't state my honest opinion of this......it tastes like turpentine smells....the wife and i were even wondering if we'd use it up in margaritas.....it was a gift and we really appreciate the thought (really, really do), from a few of our daughters friends (25 yr olds). I'll google it (that's what I do) to see what the general consensus is. Benwood, solid even at 10 weeks in the can.....not preferred.......

Oh hell yeah. This is the fresh hop beer I've been waiting for: Fremont Cowiche Canyon. Released a couple hours ago and, for all I know, canned today. It is officially fall now. Cheers!

Bell’s Expedition Stout. December 2019 bottle poured cold to the ol’ tulip glass. Super thick. Super chocolate malty. With a tiny hop cut o the back. It’s like drinking “dark” the word.

I would have gone for more Double Two Hearted, but they weren’t cold enough yet. Oddly, seems like very limited distro this year...I’ve only seen it at one of the regular haunts. Maybe they didn’t push enough volume last year. Sure, $18 a sixer is pricey, but I’d pay $5 at bowling for a Yuengling, sooooooo ok by me.

 

So, I’ve never seen those or had those, but folks seem to like them. Is that a PA brew? Maybe next June when I’m golfing at Cross Creek I’ll find some. That gold can always make me think of Miller.

Knocking off a Farmstrong Cultivar #7 IPA. Made with Zeus, Chinook, Centennial, Amarillo, and Citra hops, along with locally grown and malted grains. Pretty nice brew, as @TongoRad will soon be finding out.
