Moving on to next Farm Brewery, this one at Broad Run, and another Oktoberfest:


Barrel Oak’s was better, this is kinda weak stuff. For those following along, learned from my friend and former wine member at that previous location that it was/is having some difficulties, so might explain inflated prices, good or bad.

So far it’s my favorite NA beer. I like it better than all the American NAs I’ve tried so far, although Brooklyn’s NA is good. Cheers!

When I lived in Maine, Shipyard was not one of my favorite breweries. Pumpkinhead was just a crappy beer that I rated at 2.58.

Billy Bishop DIPA from Microbrasserie Le Bilboquet in Quebec. 8% ABV. Last night I mentioned that many of the DIPA’s I drank this summer somewhat blended together in overall quality and taste. Well, this one does distinguish itself by having a nice malty backbone to balance the beer. A really wonderful DIPA.

Listening to The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place by Explosions In The Sky. An important album as it was my introduction to the genre fifteen odd years ago. There have been many other Post-Rock albums/bands since then, but there can only be one first.

New beer from local High 9 Brewing. Name pretty much says what it is. Pretty good example, but I wouldn't expect last from these guys.
