Friend dropped it off. He got it at Georgetown GN when they came out.

Cheers! Me too. It's a pretty good one.

Thanks. If the had a new drop or a new batch or something, I might have headed down there.

Am at Ex Novo pdx, drinking a fh mass ascension. Pretty good, with an impressively bitter hop bite on the finish. I think I actually preferred the Eliott, which of course they're now out of (on tap at least).

That Misfits-inspired label is pretty damn terrific.

Moving on quickly now to Matchless Stratafresh. So 16oz + 16oz = basically a crowler's worth of beer. Thinking of what @66jzmstr mentioned yesterday about being a responsible parent and husband, but my wife and daughter are still out. What's a guy to do?

Am at Baerlic now. They have 4 different fh IPA's on tap. They're really all over the map flavor and aroma wise. However, the Trickle Drops fh dipa seems to be the best of the bunch. Great fh character with plenty of tropical fruit. Just delicious.

I really enjoyed the fresh comet hops in Post Everything.

It has been a very productive day here at stately Vurt Manor, including the production of a staggering payload of New Mexico-style green chile enchiladas. They will be coming out of the oven soon, giving me just enough time to finish this glass of StormBreaker Handfuls of Fresh! Hops Double Fresh Hopped IPA:

This is really good! I'm calling this another fresh hop dark horse. (Doesn't hurt that it was canned 2 days ago.)

And your glass reminds us that Yakima Fresh Hop Festival has been a thing since 2002.

Yeah. Fresh hops for life. Taste it.

The first festival I ever attended where the tasting glass was a pint glass. All those gorgeous fresh hops in one place, sweet jeebus.

We'd always hit Bale Breaker on the way in to town, so we could have a fresh hop pint amongst the hop bines.

Fun little comparison opportunity at final draft taphouse in Vancouver Washington. They have Stoup's FH Citra on draft and their FH Simcoe in cans. Grabbed some of each which made for a nice night.

A sixer of Cowiche was obtained an hour ago. The sciencing will commence after I eat something.

There is a van, somewhere between Yakima and Bham. That van should be in Tha Ham around 2pm, and shall then purge its cargo of the hops of fresh directly into a brew kettle that just finished milling in. Updates to follow.

Definitely lower half. It has more fresh hop flavor than Pert Near, but I think Pert Near is a better constructed beer. My first beer from Sig, and I can't find them in the database, so I tried to add them (waiting for the mods to approve the addition).

I just opened my crowler of Harvest the Void. Very much on the New England end of the spectrum, highly sweet with little bitterness. Tastes a bit like Tropicana OJ (with pulp). And I'm digging it. Go Hawks!

I can confirm the accuracy of this post. New seasons in the Portland metro area got them Friday and Saturday
