I just finished HF Galaxy myself and something seemed off...got a little better as it warmed, but also caught that astringent taste. Noticed something similar in Kites the other day, as did a friend of mine who splits direct shipping with me.

Anything that could possibly be perceived as tarnishing the work of Lord Hill gets @RauchbierFan33 foaming at the mouth

It all just clicked. No disrespect meant to a certain out of the way northern Vermont farmstead.

I agree that this batch of Hyperfocus Galaxy is showing a lot of herbal/earthy character. It's true, we don't get to do selection on australian hops (Galaxy). It's frustrating to see the variation from lot to lot. For what it's worth my experience in the past with Galaxy is that the fruit starts to sing at about 3 weeks of age. Hoping that happens with this batch as well. Beginning to develop the opinion that Galaxy works better in combination with other varietals than as a single hop. The same lot of galaxy hops made it into the new batch of Suicide Door, which came out absurdly juicy.

CAPSLOCK is being canned?!? Will have to pick up that and Suicide Door when I go next I guess.

This batch of Lumen is really great. Earthy, fruity dankness with various tropical fruits throughout and a nice candied peach that pops up here and there. Really nicely balanced -- wish more beers were brewed at this 6.4% range with this much flavor.

The new Cloudbusting is sensational, because of course it is. I don't think there's a better iterative series of IPAs in existence.

Have to second this. Fantastic this time around and had to order more for that wonderful door to door delivery.

Yeah. Best Grimm IPA of the year for me. The Nelson is out of control, I loved it.

Has anyone tried the Nonsense World? Brewed with the same Nelson hops.

I love you Grimm keep doing what you’re doing. Cloud busting, suicide, hypferfocis centennial and lumen were all fantastic.

Loving all the classic rewinds so fresh and clean tasting, nice reprieve from all the “haze bombs”

Totally. I'm always hesitant about Nelsons. They can taste like dirt. Not this one. So good!
