Greetings BAs, had the day off today but unfortunately, I spent six hours of the day without power, first because of a scheduled upgrade and second because of high winds that probably took out a line. The beers thankfully stayed cold. Killed some work samples of Calicraft Tiki Time, Artifex Unicorn Juice and Port Brewing Hop-15; didn't drink much of any of them, mostly just sip-and-spit and drank enough to write notes and dumped.

I'm drinking this beauty tonight: Bottle Logic - Picture If You Will... (2019), a barrel aged pumpkin ale brewed with pumpkin then finished with clove, allspice, nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon after spending 16 months in bourbon barrels.

Do You Even Mosaic, Broh? compliments of New Glory. My new favorite IPA these days. Trying to clear out the fridge before a case comes from a new to me brewery out of San Diego tomorrow

Ya sometimes the malt urge hits. I skipped both BY and the northern hemisphere from sierra Nevada this year. Just didn't line up with my beer buying. Got a case of mostly hoppy stuff coming and then I'm thinking its time to take a break from beer for a bit. Need to clean out the ol' system at some point

Yeah I skipped on the northern hemisphere also. Even though it it one of my all time favorites. I just couldn't find a date on the 6er so it's a no go this year.

Of all the beers to skip for want of a date! Its gotta be fresh right? It's weird though that they wouldn't date it, kinda like lagunitas using regular dating on BY but nothing else. You mofos have the technology! Why would you ever not use it?

I dunno, weird fuckin year all around. Glad I don't own or operate a nationally distributed consumables company

Nah it's just Pennsylvania. Can't trust a beer without a date seen a lot of toddlers. In fact I may have seen a date and just not given a fuck with the prices we pay for the brand.

Ya, honestly the price is what turned me away the one time I saw it while actually buying beer. It was like $17 a 6 pack, and I know you guys get an extra PA premium on top of that. Weird flex from Sierra, I didn't remember it being so expensive the last couple years but, ya know, 2020

We can start a new thread about it but almost every beer has gone up in my area. All the year rounds went from 9.99 to 13.90 $$. Call it the fallout from the juice.

Beer done jumped the shark just let a few fail. Failure is a good thing.
