I completely understand your point of view and agree regarding the relative insignificance of sports in the larger context of the world today. Tom Brady will not develop a vaccine for Covid-19, show up in a firetruck if my house is on fire or drive the ambulance if I have a medical emergency. These are real things. Yet, I am finding some comfort in a Sunday routine I have followed for the better part of my life. Strange times indeed, and I believe about to get stranger in the wake of November 3rd. Cheers.

 

I want to like this many times. I learned from a master chef that a meal begins with your eyes. I always try to use visual presentation, and this absolutely rocks.

I am not trying to be a dick but although a meal maybe *begin* with you eyes but presentation isn't everyone. The taste is what matters. What if I gave you a beautifully looking pilser that tastes like piss?

I totally understand your point and would be willing to debate it but it seems fairly clear we just have different opinions and thats OK

 

My culinary arts teacher always said the better sometimes looks the better it tastes. He also used to say if you burn something give it a French name and charge 5 bucks more. Not sure about that one though.

*THE worst company(by design), of any sort , that I have ever dealt with. I expect to get screwed - it's an insurance company, after all - but don't blow me off for 2 months , without talking to me, & block my every attempt to talk to an actual person. Is this specific to IPA? I ask because I’ve seen saison dry hopped with Nelson and wonder if you stray into these styles for the hops?

2020 is relentless. I got up early for golf this morning, went to load up the car and there it is ... flat tire. Almost the entire year, crap like this keeps happening. It sucks but at least there's beer (... and for me right now, distilled beer):

The -ghosts-are mashed potatoes which I made a little firm to hold up while baking. Underneath is ground beef,sauteed carrots and onions, ketchup and worcestershire sauce.
