Bruens still use Olympias to resurface the ice right? I do respect that.

Marchand is the epitome of the guy who is hated by everyone except his teams fans. Great player, though.

I could not waste this absolutely gorgeous afternoon without spending some serious time on the back deck. First, a second Two Hearted:

I've had a few of the 2020 bottles, and very much enjoyed them, so I figured I should go back to some 2019. Spoilers: freaking delicious.

Dinner prep coming up - and that means more beer, obviously. Cheers!

Well as many of you may be aware that are regulars on WBAYDN Im more of a late drinker rather than early. That may change for at least the next couple of days...hoping for peace at least. [IMG]

Chilly enough in Atlanta tonight to break out this bottle of Sympathy Weight Maple Bourbon Barrel Wee Heavy Scotch Ale from Monday Night Brewing Garage series. Bottled in 2018. It's held up well. Age had rounded it off a bit. It's 12% ABV, but you'd never know it. Still has some subtle maple wood aroma and flavor. Bourbon flavor & aroma is not overwhelming. It's smooth and quite sweet, almost syrupy sweet. I haven't had Scotch Ale in a while and haven't had many, so I' struggling with comparisons. Cheers all!

I'm at Tapped my favorite tap room in Greenville NC.
I'm drinking a Jester King Autumnal Dichotomous 2019.
It's an excellent Farmhouse-Saison, I could definitely drink quite a few of these, but, with an ABV of 8.2, maybe not
    Cheers!

Actually finished up work at 5:30 tonight, which is well earlier than normal. As such, before I pack up a couple boxes of beer to send to some other BAs, it's time for a beer. This one is Near & Far, from Fox Farm. It's their DIPA made with locally grown grapes and several New Zealand sourced hops. As always from these guys, it's tasty.

it feels totally strange being home on a week day at this time of the day. Might as well enjoy it.

Pours a pineapple color. 3 finger very fluffy white head. Retention is amazing, almost too good. Some lacing on the glass.
The nose is a tropical citrus aroma. Pineapple is there. Some grapefruit as well. I also get a hint of lime and lemon.
Taste - Hoppy is the best word to describe this. I'm getting a lot of lime and lemon up front. The grapefruit and pineapple are more on the backside.
It is a "dry" feeling beer. It is also full bodied.
A solid, and very tasty IIPA!
