    512 Pecan Porter. Spinning some late 70's (maybe 80's) "Classic Blue Note" series albums. Even in the late 70's they had a ton of stuff they never got around to releasing. Though they were not all hits this time around, they had some really good ones released. Like this Jean-Luc Ponty Live At Donte's 1969. Kind of a "lost" set they never released on recording. The later CD of this had way more music, but this was the original abridged release.

    look: 3.25 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.75

    Bright yellow body; cloudy; wispy patches of foam but no head per se. Grapefruit and citrus aroma; fairly fresh. Rich flavors filled with mildly tangy citrus and grapefruit plus oat-like graininess; bold bitterness; dull sweetness overall. Heavy body; soft but with a sharp citrus and alcohol bite.

    This beer misses the mark for appearance but makes up for it in other categories. It does bring out a somewhat sharp and abrasive taste and feel with the alcohol presence, but overall tastes and feels fine. Worth a try...

    I love that beer, and always get a bunch when its released. Though this year I keep forgetting, probably because they completely changed the label and its unrecognizable to me when browsing ha. I'll have to actually remember to specifically look for that next time.

    Aroma is floral, orange citrus

    Taste is malt , floral

    Smooth almost creamy mouthfeel , medium sudsing

    Nice beer

    Infinite Universe, a single-hopped (Galaxy) Quadruple IPA from Magnify. This is one helluva beer! Lots of lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, and passion fruit and a thicker, chewier mouth feel than the Founders Mackinac KBS I drank last night. Sublime drinking!

    "Shop at Costco" they said, "you'll save money" they said. Yeah, right. My wife's friend just delivered so much stuff from our joint order that I'll spend the next week building a fallout shelter to store it. On the plus side, we can now ride out not only the Covid 19 apocalypse, but if movies have taught me anything, the zombie apocalypse that is virtually guaranteed to follow.

    Currently drinking St. Feuillien Cuvee de Noel. Apparently this is the 50th anniversary of this 9.0% beer that is wonderful looking, feeling and tasting. I know it's not really close enough to Christmas to be drinking this, so go ahead and sue me. I've got nothing left after the Costco order, so the joke's on you. Cheers.

    I think that's the first Quintuple I've seen. What's the ABV on it? Since a Quadruple IPA is a QIPA, I guess Quintuple needs to be written out.
