Afternoon coffee. Mug choice inspired by @Ocalafox's Jocko post yesterday. Been a fan of his a long time now. I wish I had even an iota of his motivation and discipline.

First, the squirrels began to gather and chatter...it’s been almost 2 months since the backyard buffet has been open...alas, the fresh Vaseline on the poles thwarts their efforts to directly access their hoped for lunch...meanwhile, the birds are slowly discovering that I’ve re-opened the all you can eat “restaurant”...

Afternoon BA! Happy Friday to all. I am currently drinking off a crowler of Vienna Lager from by local brewery NoFo Brew Co. It's called Yonah Live Once (5.6% abv). Vienna Lager is by far my favorite style of beer, but it's hard to find and additionally hard to find made the classic way with mostly Vienna malt and not dark malts added. Well, NoFo Brew Co did me right, as they made a more classic version. I chatted with the Head Brewer to find out more about it. Anyway, the picture is of the slow pour version I had at the brewery last weekend. If you've never had a slow pour beer, I recommend you try it when you find on on tap. It makes for a beautiful pour and an enhanced aroma. A little something extra in your drinking experience. Yonah Live Once is a very well crafted Vienna Lager. One of the best I've had.

Things are really starting to heat up again in Ontario so I will be greatly minimizing my visits to stores. Found a place in Toronto (a store, not a brewery, rare in Ontario) that delivers, so I placed an order. Will be getting a bunch of stuff from Omnipollo, Mikkeller and Lervig early next week. Kind of a nice find during these times.

Right now I am starting off the day with a Fuller’s Vintage Ale 2019. 8.5% and I believe benefiting greatly from the year of age it has on it now. Down to my last few bottles of this, but unless there has been a supply chain problem, the 2020 Vintage should be arriving shortly. Cheers.
