Unbelievably grassy pilsner that absolutely hits the spot. I don’t know if he’s still posting here but many thanks to @Jdubz78 for the Carton box!

I played tennis for 3 hours this morning and I'm sore af. Oh well, ya old f*ck, you'll be out there tomorrow morning, too! Sweat is the cologne of success, Hunter. I feel you. Let's watch some football and get into this Tertiary Gems from Hidden River. Cheers!

Wow. I hate imgur now. Hopefully you can see the photo of Bodhizafa, peeking out of 16oz Reuben's coozie turned down to fit a 12oz can.

Decided as long as the wife and kids are out, I would try and use the YouTube videos/music you folks are posting as a playlist...it's pretty damn eclectic.

    Happy Sunday, BA! On on!

A woman that likes Chess is a thing tho cherish. Many years ago I had a girlfriend that played chess too. Fun from the outstart, but she turned out way better compared to me. So that had to end, sooner or later
    Cheers!

Sierra Nevada Celebration IPA (Chinook, Cascade, Centennial). The head retention and glass lacing are insane on this one. One of the most consistently well-made beers made on a wide scale in craft today.

Back from a very pleasant walk with the dogs and Mrs. Z. Our 13 year old terrier mix is beginning to age into occasional night incontinance (sp?) so we’re going to hopefully help her out with walking on leash midday and pre bedtime (instead of just letting her out in the back yard during day/at night). It’s a win/win, we all get more needed exercise!

This afternoon’s beer comes from my recent travels, from a previously unrated (but listed) brewery, and a beer not listed on BA (I’ve got my work cut out for me today) - “Palmetto Malt SMASH”, a blond ale from Wide Awake Brewing Company, Summerville, SC:

Poured at 54°. Brewed with local SC Barley (per the owner/head Brewer with whom I met). A perfectly drinkable, avg. blonde ale...working on notes for NBW. Cheers!

It was funny that the first time we played a few weeks ago, she said she would love to play, but she was not very good at chess. Come to find out some deception there after I put my guard down . I did end up winning, but I can see the way she plays right out the gate. I have to keep my usual defense.

Courtyard and beer time this afternoon. Orval, my favorite lazy afternoon beer. Reading Paulette Jiles' Enemy Women. Its a great Civil War historical novel the likes of Cold Mountain. A couple of years ago Jiles released News of The World and its excellent, and is being released later this year as a movie with Tom Hanks. Would highly recommend everyone read the book, and I'm looking forward to the movie.

I have yet to buy my first pack of Celebration for the year. However, after seeing your post, that may change this week. Easily one of the top beers I buy that signal the holidays are coming.

    Cheers!

Flipping back and forth between football and the Masters, although the latter is pretty much cut and dried at this point. Starting of the day with Wild Bog, a cranberry sour from Whitewater Brewing Company in the Ottawa Valley. This is from a mixed pack I bought a couple of weeks ago and so far I am quite impressed. This beer is 6.0% and is very well done with the cranberry on both the nose and the taste. A quality beer. Cheers.
