I was excited to find in NJ since I recalled enjoying this beer a number of years ago. Not date on cans but 4 pack had a 10/22 sticker. Though the beer appears to be older, upon pouring looked like a snow globe! Tastes quite malty.

A little schhnackie snack. I need a rating from the king of app plates @Greywulfken please. This APL from Treehouse 4.3% is perfect. 12 bucks a 4pk too. Not bad.[IMG]

That looks awesome! We need more books with beers, as far as I'm concerned.
Just got Enemy Woman from Audible (audiobook).

Middle Ages makes a “Dragon Slayer,” too. Theirs is pretty good, heavy bourbon, thick mouthfeel, dark and chewy. They have an imperial oatmeal stout, Fearless, that is even better. The 2018 bomber is in its absolute prime...2 left on my shelf. The 2019s are more bourbon, but they should age well.

Now, you know how I can be about pierogis, so I’m wondering how much BA discourse we need on Buffalo wings....is that a traditional wing sauce, or did your chefnicity make you get all adjuncty with it? I can overlook the oven-baked chicken breast alternative...the chicken is really just a delivery method for the bleu cheese and hot sauce anyway...but if you start talking the addition of garlic and worcestershire sauce and some Asian chilies.....

Stuffed Crust — a recent collaboration between BlackStack Brewing and Bricksworth Beer Company. “Triple IPA”, so fairly strong and as hazy as the day is long.

Pungent mint and citrus on the nose, and plenty of tropical fruit across the palate.

    Cheers!

Had the Du Ciel Scotch ale with maple earlier: it’s a 2018 and the maple was gone. Still a good wee heavy, but not one to age IMO.

Now having a 2018 Peche Mortel. Wow. Loads of dark espresso-like coffee. Very solid brew. Not many people around here pop $5 or more for a 12 ouncer, so beers like this sit around and pre-age. With Shelton Bros going belly-up, there are only 3 left on the retailer’s shelf, with little likelihood of replacement until some other distro company picks up the business. I have one 32oz growler of this left, wax sealed in an effort to keep it viable for a bit.
