Home brewed mosaic and strata pale. Juicy and super soft. Brewed it for an upcoming camping trip. Just a little QC of course.

I think we agree that any version of chicken wings ought to have beer as an accompaniment. As to food, to me it’s Buffalo wings, not Buffalo chicken. Wings as in bone-in wings.

There are many savory sauce for chicken breast, which also should be in my book cooked bone-in, though I prefer thighs if eating chicken. Having said my preferences, eat what makes you happy. Drink beer and be merry. We’re all in this together. Keep your stick on the ice. Cheers!

Well I had Wing Weds at the Brewery so I had to come up with new stuff every week. On the regular menu I had Thai Sticky Wings. A couple of interesting varieties I had were:
    Bloody Mary Wings
    Whiskey Sour Wings
Marinated Smoked Wings w/ Carribean Dry Rub
    Stout Glazed Wings

At whiteys in Richfield with my uncle. Getting a burger, chili, fries. This is the house red, tastes like an Irish style red.

One place near me started getting Equilibrium beer last month. Dates are within a week so it’s not just leftover palette stuff. I’ll look for that one. Fluctuation has been my favorite so far. Cheers!

Might've had this on-tap a while ago, I'm not sure, but I've definitely never had the take-home edition before, and it's absolutely delicious, if BBA Imperial Stouts are something you get excited about.

I am 100% in favor of bone-in wings. When you don't have them on hand, though, there are ways to make do.

Mayflower's Thanksgiving Ale (2020) in the afternoon...
Far better than expected - I was set on a decent but meh beer, and instead really pleased with the quality and character of this beer... I never know what to expect with an old ale - Founders (Old Curmudgeon) and many Bruery anniversary releases - all of which I loved - defined the style for me (throw in some Thomas Hardy's as well (and Old Stock from North Coast)) - but they aren't necessarily representative of what the style has to offer, if that makes sense... They are the "big boy high abv" incarnations - beers like Fuller's Vintage ale are more aligned with this brew, and this is actually the lowest-abv beer of this style I've ever had (6.7%) - this drinks like an "English doppelbock" - which is not a thing, but it's what this is like - has the chewy sweet fruits, like dates - and a shellacky stickiness... Bitterness is of sweet resin and caramel, and leaves a fruit leathery pine coat on the tongue and palate... Feel is medium-weight, fairly dense, low carbonation despite a respectable starting head... Finishes with a little bit of oaky dryness... This is a "strong" pub beer for a cold night or a holiday sipper by the fireside - incredibly manageable abv - the richness will make you think you're drinking something stronger...

Then, Staropolskie's Chmielne ("hoppy") Beer, from Poland...
Has a chewy, bready, malty, sweet profile... Some citrus of the dark sort provides highlights, a shellacky underbelly - denser than I'd expected, and less carbonated... Basically simply enjoyed it, though not particularly familiar with the style... Features pilsner (barley) malt with Magnum, Sybilla, Hallertau Tradition, and Citra hops... 5.5% abv, best by date of 3/17/21... "chmielne" means "hoppy"

    Bonus cat pic...

We got a new scratching post - this is the box it came in - this is the cat in that box lol...
This guy cracks me up every day... *that face*

Nothing on that plate (or in that glass) would survive me... *perfect score*

Alright, I've been fucking around long enough that this is what's up now...
Adorable-sized bottle of Sambuca in my coffee with Key Lime cheesecake slice...

    Music to my ears...

    Cheers...

It’s a beautiful sunny lower humidity 82° on the back patio, as I clean up 2 months of potted plant neglect, and clean my grill for some charcoal action - a Florida Cracker by CCB as I putter about:

Yep, Postimage is up and running...for youinz (see what I did there? 1978 Trenton PA, Not Pburg baby!) using cell phones to post, the imbgg app is simple, free, and as easy to use as Postimage for getting a working photo share link.

Let’s drink some beer, burn some meat, and rehash old south western Pennsylvania dialects, you old Terry 2fers, terrible towel wavin’, lottery fix-in’, beer fanatics! Maybe even Myron C. and Chilly Bill C. will join us...:rolling_eyes: - Cheers!

Summer Greens seems appropriate for Masters watching. A great performance by D. Johnson, but 20 under at a major tournament seems wrong.

Conversely, I love everything about this album which I just got around to.
