Fairly average spiced beer. Glad I only bought a single. I've been plowing through it pretty quickly to get to something better, but it has improved as it has warmed.

I see your post and raise you this. To keep the beer quote intact, I am drinking Deschutes Black Butte Porter. My wife made fun of me in the Liqour store when I asked for, "Black Butt Porter."

Going through half a Big Bear Black Stout tonight and recapping to take to a friend tomorrow. Kind of reminds me of Stone's IRS in that it's a solid stout but I'm not really getting a dominant flavor out of it outside of a roasty, dark fruit tang. It's good but I like to get a few different flavors out of my imperial stouts, with something a little on the dominant side whether it be coffee or chocolate with the other flavors riding shotgun. Eh, we'll see as it warms up.

Had a 10 hour day between gigs, so I had to stop by Trader Joe's for groceries. Can't go wrong with a 2012 Viintage Ale by Unibroue.

Started out with a Peche Mortel 11e anniversary (nitro) and moved on to a Noce de Soie (Saison brewed with Japanese Peppercorns). Delish. Cheers.

I've never had anything from Ninkasi before so I thought I'd pick up their bomber 4 pack. It was only 13.99 so that's about 3.50 a bomber! Not too bad. Starting out with their Total Domination ipa.

Doing a side-by-side of both versions of International Arms Race gruit ales by BrewDog and Flying Fish. While BrewDog's offering is a little more flavorful than their American counterpart's, overall I'm under-whelmed. Not bad beers mind you, I just don't think that the style is for me.

    Back in the saddle again,
I started the night off with dinner and with this local brew 805!!
It wasn't bad but its a blond ale!! If Firestone would have decided to make this a Double IPA this one would be very hard to get!!
Finishing off on a bad note...
Note to self, when going to Trader Joe's stick to the Damn food!!

805 Made me feel gangsta so I am listening to this old-school jam...

I'm 8 episodes into the first season of American Horror Story and I feel like my head is full of nails and its just getting shaken around. Every ten minutes I literally say "WTF!!!?" out loud. This show is bananas.

Closing the night out with some old Two Hearted
