First measurable snowfall of the season here in Northern Indiana calls for a good Oktoberfest. This checks all the boxes, IMHO. Love it.

 

Beer number three is Omnipollo Nebuchadnezzar, an 8.5% DIPA from a brewery that is rapidly moving up my list of favorites.

Listening to A Quiet Normal Life: The Best Of Warren Zevon. What a songwriter he was. You could make a feature film out of the lyrical density that is the four minute Roland The Headless Thompson Gunner. Starting a movie soon, which is Bone Tomahawk starring Kurt Russell. It's a foray into the rare horror/western genre. Cheers.

My 2 cents FWIW - getting tested doesn't really mean squat. Someone could be asymptomatic and infected, but just may not have enough virus at the time to be detected.

To me, Covid 19 is like Russian roulette. If someone gets it they may be mildly affected or severely impacted depending on a number of factors. The med school has drilled it into our heads to treat everyone as potentially affected so I really limit my interaction with people as much as possible.

I have pre-existing circumstances that put me into the high risk group, and I like contributing to BA so I would like to keep it that way. For me, I will continue to avoid getting together with groups of people thereby limiting my risk of exposure. Vaccines are coming and hopefully they will help in getting life back to normal, but until then there could be a bullet in the chamber on the next click.

Just a single shot of 3G tonight since the wife is working half a day tomorrow. If I could stay awake i could get into some mischief later.......

 

Of the three I mentioned, Nonagon and Murder would probably be most in the proggy realm. Nonagon Infinity has 9 tracks that all segue right into each other with the last song matching up perfectly with the beginning of the first song. I've lost a few hours keeping it on repeat. Murder of the Universe is more of a concept record telling 3 different stories. I would also check out the song Crumbling Castle which almost constantly changes and overlaps time signatures. Here's a live version, the studio version adds an extra 3 minutes to the song.
