    Mrs. Z has had me hopping all day, mostly getting boxes of Xmas decorations out of storage...taking a well deserved beer break...darn, this beer is good - Adroit Theory’s “Evangelion XIV. Zeruel: Ghost 891”:

    Poured at 54°. A TripleIPA (10%) DDH Mosaic, Citra, BRU-1, and Chinook. Grapefruit, tangerine, bitter orange peel delicious! And check out the awesome art:

    So good I downed the pint as I entered this post...now that’s my kinda “hazy”! I got this can through Tavour, and I’ll be on the lookout for more - a well crafted beer. Cheers!

    Drinking this very old Spencer Monks' Reserve Ale, an American Trappist quadrupel. Some vinous sherry aromas right now, with notes of dried fruits, dark fruit, tart apple, banana, apricot, plums, cherries, figs, dates, raisins, grape, thick caramel, dark toffee, molasses, roasty chocolate, charred toasted bread, subtle clove spice, and herbal earthy hops. Not too bad for having a few years on it. Cheers all!

    My brewers @Turning Point are unbelievable. Trying their TURKEY AND GRAVY for Thanksgiving released today. Another kick-ass IPA. The boys are genius and not very stable drinking this stuff. They be like fallin' down Hank III, D-runk. Incredible beer.
    Wheat Cream Double IPA with Citra, El Dorado, Simcoe Lupulin Powder and Lactose added.
    8.2% ABV so damn good. They keep amazing me weekly.

    A wonderfully relaxing afternoon on the back porch. Granted, it takes until late November for the Southeast to feel like a New England Summer, but I'll take the two or three months of pleasant weather I get for now.

    I asked the kid and he said they just got it in -
    Grabbed the only 4 pack left -

    poured cellar temp into a frosted glass -
    Pretty damn tasty :slight_smile:

    Had to give my neighbor one for his cellar collection .

    I’m two for two on the hazies today - another great smelling, tasting and feeling beer - Drekker’s “The Noodle Effect” DIPA (8.3%):

    I like what I’ve had so far from this brewery, and I like this beer! Creamy (oats) feel and citrus, earthy melon, dank white grape vibe from the Belma, Vic Secret, and Hellertau Blanc hop combo. Fuller and fluffy compared to the Ghost 891 that I just drank, so not at all “poundable”; still worthy in its own right, and I keep buying Drekker cans when they pop up on Tavour. Definitely a NEIPA style, yet one I actually enjoy drinking. Cheers!
