Tonight’s session so far from left to right. Just poured the Third Coast. Wife says I’m getting too skinny. These should get me nice, full and bloated for tomorrow morning! Working ahead on a 2021 crossword-a-day calendar. Getting a bit carried away.

 

I agree. It is probably best to look for work with a clear head. Glad to hear you are a responsible and controlled drinker.

Drank a few of those from the Voodoo Ranger mix pack over the Thanksgiving holiday. Nice beer.

 

Thanks for your response. I wish I did not have to go through the hassle of getting a medical marijuana card but am thankful that getting the product is now at least legal under certain circumstances.

Who knows, maybe my neurologist can recommend the product that is best for me. At any rate will most definitely seek advice from the store personnel.

Did that rotation include wine? I have a glass in hand now with dinner. I'm leaning towards some Scotch for after dinner. Not sure where the progression goes after that.

 

It's my wife's birthday today, so we split this bottle of Honey Gone Wild by Free Will during dinner. It's a dry hopped wild ale with honey aged in rum barrels with cherries, and it was absolutely delicious. Thanks to @thebeers for sending this one my way. I've taken a few days off around here after putting a hurting on the BCBS weekend, but hope everyone is doing well out there.

 

Was feeling wiped out due to a lack of sleep but have found a second wind. Movie time. No head for a foreign film or anything overly complicated, so it will be Brawl In Cell Block 99, which should be straight forward and was well reviewed.

Had another beer “off camera” after my last post, but back with some Belgian greatness to start the movie. 11.8% but goes down like half that ABV. Cheers.

 

#2, this is traveshamockery good, IMHO - a caramel frappe latte for grownups. Love it.

 

Drinking a 2016 Central Waters Brewer's Reserve Bourbon Barrel Stout right now. Real nice, dark cocoa chocolate notes, dark caramel, toffee, molasses, bourbon oak barrel, hint of vanilla, dark dried fruit, toasty bread, sweet tobacco, with earthy hop notes. Cheers everyone!

After a 5 hour shift at the Case n Keg I am really thirsty.

 

Yes, just two bottles of Two Hearted and I am drinking wine. It used to be I would drink three or four brews before any transition be it wine or bourbon. Now it is evolving (or is it devolving) to just two beers before a transition.

Got an order in for some Triple Crossing brews which I will get tomorrow. Two of them are high on my list. If you are on WBAYDN tomorrow night you will see them.

Beef dipped hop butcher.....one of the brightest most tropical simcoe beers I’ve ever been lucky to smell.....happy Thursday and chairs.....
