Looks right on par for Sierra Nevada. Sounds good but nothing too different.

Fantastic haze was a bit too boozy and not enough juicy. I had one 4 pack and that was it. I've bought plenty 6 packs of hazy lil thing when I want something like that without spending a ton. I am wondering what their new seasonal is going to be....since they just posted about it on Instagram. I think the word on the side of the 12 pack is Wonderland...but it's hard to make out.

They mentioned it in their one Facebook Live video. It’s a Peach beer - I think wheat maybe? I can’t remember.

    "Wanderland Nectarine Ale"

Another IPA from Sierra Nevada!?! What a surprise!?!:stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe Sierra Nevada and Stone can have a 'contest' on which large, distributing brewery can produce the most hoppy beers as measured by barrels of beer per year. Perhaps the 'winner' can be awarded the choice to rename their brewery to IPA Brewing Company?

    Non-cheers to this crap!:grimacing:

Have you seen Summer Break, an upcoming session hazy IPA? https://mybeerbuzz.blogspot.com/2020/10/sierra-nevada-adding-summer-break.html

Is this a 'replacement' beer for Summerfest?

    Cheers!

Whoa...I hope not. That would make me consider a SN boycott. Well, maybe except for Celebration...but nothing else damn it!!

Somehow I hadn't noticed this trend, just looked at their site and every "year round" beer is some kind of IPA (or snpa) :grimacing:

I consume a lot of Sierra Nevada, but its mostly porter, stout, narwhal, bigfoot, and the two hoppy options of snpa and celebration. I am not stoked to see how far this trend has come along. They do dark beers so well

I agree with you here but I very, very rarely see either the Stout or Porter on my local beer retailers' shelves. You are fortunate to be able to purchase these beers.

    Cheers!

I'm admittedly a big fan of SN, but just can't find myself excited about another 'juicy' double IPA. I'm sure I'll try it at some point on draft or at a friend's house, but for now I'll be reaching for Celebration. That new Dankful has been really good too.

I know this is my usual complaint, but I can't even get those two in NorCal. I get economic realities, but it's stull frustrating because I'd buy them if I could.

A session hazy IPA replacing Summerfest would be 100% unacceptable to me.

I love their porter and stout but never see them around here.

Same here. I was in Charlotte last weekend and looked for Stout with no success. I can get Stout in Birmingham at Hop City, but I just don't have the motivation to drive an hour and a half on a beer run anymore.

I don't know how north you are but holiday markets around redding get the stout in and almost always have the porter. Local to me I can only get the porter regularly. Stout seems to only be bottled a couple times a year. I got a march bottling through July and then just last month an august bottling showed up

So is this replacing fantastic haze or is it just another hazy DIPA with different hops? Looks like different hops and it doesn't have the oats and wheat.

Don't know, don't care? lol I guess the market "asks" for more DIPAs but I certainly do not.
