Dyan. Do you know what the release date will be for the fantasia?

It's Already available online for delivery or pickup, along with a new batch of Prescott Pils, which, if my friend is to be believed, is particularly tasty.

Thanks for the tip! As luck would have it, tomorrow is delivery day at Upright. Having fantasia, special herbs AND the Prescott pils available was just too much temptation for me to resist.

I'll need to get some Fantasia and Ives. The new batch of Kopstooje is also very intriguing, having been aged in vermouth barrels for 24 months. Happily, I have some of that as well!

Saw something I haven't seen in a while at John's on SW Multnomah today. Fresh bombers of the Gouden Carolus (blau) and fresh bottles of the Ayinger Bavarian Pils. The latter is particularly outstanding, and along with the Wurzburger version, remains the gold standard for the style (IMHO). Absolutely delicious.

New Seasons at Cedar Hills is having a sale on barrel-aged beers. 20% off!

This includes 4-packs and single cans of Breakside's awesome Black Is Beautiful beer. $5.59/can!

This also means that a 4-pack of this year's Abyss is about $16.

Anyone else join Fort George's new Lovell Auto Co? The price shook me a bit at first, but then I realized it's lower than the annual cost for pFriem's.

Makes De Garde’s $200 keepers seem cheap

Compared to some of the other memberships nationwide, de Garde's keepers is pretty solid, I think. Perennial was just a bit north of 450 bucks, for instance.

Yup that’s all. I spend at least that on extra bottles but it’s worth it

Answered my own question, grabbed it for $25 at Zupan's today. I can't believe I never got to this one in nearly 10 years of this ridiculous hobby of ours, but pretty happy to pick this one off.

FWIW, I picked up my box at Migration today and this seems like a great deal. Nice mix of styles, nice mix of flagships/seasonals/one-offs. Migration also offered 20% off al packaged beer, so picked up a six-pack of their Frankie imperial stout and a bottle of whiskey barrel-aged Frankie for $17. Because I need to buy more beer.

I'm not going to pretend to understand how this makes sense, but the Market of Choice in Bend gives you the choice of buying a 22oz bottle for $23 or so, or a 32oz crowler for $19. It's going to be a boozy Christmas

I am rather amazed to discover that I first enjoyed Mother of All Storms (originally called The Perfect Storm) at the end of Christmas day, 12 years ago.

Time flies. It's still my highest rated beer. (To be fair, I don't have that many ratings.)
