What beer are you drinking now? #2972

Totally proper glassware...

 

Sipping on some Heady Topper. This must be one of the most hoppy yet balanced (D)IPAs in history. Such a unique exemplary profile, pink/red grapefruit, dark blueberry notes, white grape, passionfruit, mango, pineapple, orange citrus, lemon, resinous dank earthy herbal floral grassy pine, dank to the 3rd degree, perfectly wonderful toasted bready malts, I'm not sure what ingredients they put in here other than pure love, passion, and . Really great beer that I feel fortunate to be able to get at the local liquor store on Broadway now. Cheers everyone!

Home from my 2nd shift at the liquor store. I'm really thinking, so far, that it's a great fit for me.Hopefully they think the same.
I saw this at the store today, and I had to try it.If I remember correctly, @bobv drinks this from time to time. I like it a lot.

Time for a beer, and a damn amazing one!

Punk-o from Bad Habit Brewing - 6.66% ABV.

Pours a nice amber color. 2 finger and very fluffy, cloud like, off white head. The head retention is damn good. Some nice lacing on the glass.
The nose is full of the pumpkin spices. Tons of cloves, and cinnamon. It also has a malty backbone to it.
Taste - Lactose up front. On the back the pumpkin spices kick in. Not as powerful as the nose, but very well balanced. The vanilla also kicks in on the backside. Nice malty sweetness also mixed in.
Creamy body. Maybe a bit thinner than I would expect, but not watery.
A totally solid pumpkin ale. recommended.

Metal heads of BA. Somebody tell me this is Kirk Windstein of Crowbar/ Down on this first song and I’m not nuts. ?? No features or credits anywhere. Bernneman aka Bernd Kost one of my favorite guitar players (ex sodom) new band and it sounds just like sodoms newer albums I’m hype because while genesis 16 is very great, I prefer bernds style and tone to Frank blackfires and am a lil butt hurt over Tom firing both bern and the drummer after 15+ years. As you see they have PLENTY of chops
