Wicked Weed Pernicious, 11 year old painted the picture

 

Drinking this amazing beer, sent by @Whyteboar. Some reviewers say that (a) this is nothing like the regular Boss Tweed and (b) they can hardly taste the guava. While I agree with the first assessment, I can't with the second: the guava is strong on both the nose and the initial hit, and puts me in mind of summers at my grandparents, who had a guava tree in their backyard. I would pick them, halve them on the spot, scoop out each side with a teaspoon, and eat them one after the other. There are those who probably won't appreciate this beer as much as I do, but I'm really glad to have a 4-pack!

Oh man, I forgot Sufjan Stevens did a huge Christmas album, what was that, around 2006? Everything he does is always odd and wonderful

 

Not just a Christmas album, a five-CD set! It's on all the time at our place from Thanksgiving to New Year.

 

Yeah, thats right, I remember when that came out, soonish after the Illinois album and am always in ah of what he does.

 

Drinking some Double Dry Hopped Congress Street IPA from Trillium. Galaxy hops pop out with an expressive dragonfruit note, really interesting. Cheers all!

 

Found this today and at $10 a 4 pack I doubled down.

 

Me and @TBIY2C2020 are finally enjoying our Founders CBS and I have got to say it was worth the wait we absolutely Love it

2014 Unibroue / Trader Joe's Vintage Ale....tasting pretty damn awesome! I need to drink up some of these older beers in the cellar!

 

I'll take that over KBS Mackinac Fudge all day long.

 

Today Canada became the third country to approve the Pfizer Covid-19 drug, after the U.K. and Bahrain. Like the Americans, we have military people running the logistics of the rollout. As we have a geographically immense country, it has been determined that it will be September 2021 before everyone who wants the vaccine will be able to have it. In Canada, healthcare is under Provincial jurisdiction, so the feds distribute the vaccine and the provinces decide who gets what and when.

Moving on from the Sours to Omnipollo Aura, a 5.9% IPA. Very nice but didn’t make the cut for my most recent order of Lervig, Mikkeller and Omnipollo beers. Cheers.
