What beer are you drinking now? #2979

Triple like for Stars . . . I've been following them for a long time, since Set Yourself on Fire, have seen them live probably more than any other band, including a two-night concert in Brooklyn about seven years ago where they played totally different sets each night. Never seen anyone but myself post them here . . .

New Trail Brewing Goggles DIPA. I made the mistake of trying this last night after that Attacus Atlas TIPA, which was a palate wrecker. Turns out this is damn good, much more complex than your average hazy, lots of bitter playing with the juice. Gets even more interesting as it warms; not sure why it took me so long to try New Trail.

Working on some cajun-buffalo wings, and jerked brussel sprouts. Wings are in the oven and the sprouts are going in next.

Yes I've read about it plenty before and taken it plenty before. It's a weird drug. Some of the best days of my life but, I've never considered taking it more than once a week at max and gone months with zero desire whatsoever to take it. But, different people respond differently. The company I order from is a local company and charges like $20 for a year+ worth at the 1-2x a week recommended dosage. Seeing how I can pretty much get it next day no matter what and how cheap it is, and how bad I heard the wds are from it I've never been tempted. It does make me horny AF, chatty AF, and music sounds almost as good as pot. Oh it makes 2 drinks feel like 4-5 and you sleep great after and the next day is pretty sweet also. All while lasting an entire day. It's like an unimpairing version of alcohol that lasts an entire day for about 5 cents worth. So maybe avoid it if you have an addictive personality lol. I already have a bad shoulder and knees and phenibut makes me want to walk around town all day listening to music and my shoulder get's a bit worse so I'm just saving it for special occassions/job interviews. Want to ace a job interview? Look no further. As long as you don't get carried away it's great fun. Just scares me they're selling it in shops now. People who can't or won't read warnings and stick to it should steer far far away. Also great with psychedelics for anxiety and stuff. So I've heard

Yep.... 12-20 on the weather report here for the Lehigh Valley. My generator wouldn't start so my Father-in-Law came over and we got it running last night. Hopefully we won't need it, but if we do, at least it's running now.

 

A rare midweek beer for me...

 

I just got a generator back in October so I'm all set if i need it. But this is supposed to be a powdery snow and around here, I think the outages will mainly be in the southeast around Cape Cod. Still nice to know that it's there if you need it.

The only thing I haven't done is have an interlock switch installed. My neighbor was supposed to do that but he's pretty unreliable and I haven't pushed the issue due to the Covid BS. I don't want anyone in my house .. paranoia? - maybe, but he's had parties and nobody's wearing masks or social distancing so I'd rather not toss the dice.

I'm doing a Zoom Xmas with my daughter. She's coming over to swap gifts outside and then we'll connect over Zoom to open them. I want to be around for next Xmas which will hopefully be more normal, so I can deal with an unconventional Xmas this year. One bad judgement can have lasting repercussions. Cheers!

 

Drinking some DDH Fort Point pale ale, canned 15 days ago. Really great, better than the last time I had it a week or so ago, straight peaches, mango, orange citrus, pineapple, herbal earthy resinous dankness, grapefruit and the like. Nice beer. Cheers all!
