I’ve had about a dozen beers from this brewery while on the road, but this is the only one that has made it to my city. Very good brewery. Under appreciated IMO.

Toronto based Broken Social Scene doing 7/4 Shoreline. Cheers. [IMG]

I won’t bother you with another picture of Heady Topper, but I swear I’ve yet to drink one, and again yes always from the can, realize just how spectacular this beer really is. It’s really quite the marvel as it stood the test of time without a hitch, imo the best beer available on the market in any style. Subjective obviously, but I never get tired of this beer even though is rare for me to get anymore, the finish is really unique as well, can’t put a finger on it but it’s what really makes this beer. I believe they use a 5 Hop combo, maybe it’s something like Simcoe or Mosaic at the end, done know. Thanks again to Joe for the opportunity. Only two beers that affect me like this is Heady and Pliny, it’s comfort food in a glass or can, and always makes me smile which is what a beer is supposed to do, you just nod your head and smile and sip.

Haze in The Hood from Reuben’s Brews, Seattle WA. A hazy IPA with Galaxy and Amarillo hops. Tasty.

Surly BA Molé Darkness RIS, 12% ABV. Pours thick and black with no head, hence no lacing. Nose is vanilla, cinnamon, and slight chocolate. Taste is chocolate, bourbon, peppers, vanilla, and cinnamon with moderate sweetness, slight bitterness, some pepper heat, and some bourbon burn. Decent thick and smooth mouthfeel, if a bit under-carbonated. Overall outstanding to world-class, though I preferred the Rye Double Vanilla variant.

Still have the Rum BA Vietnamese Coffee to try in the next few days. Probably too late, but I'll have to try to get more of these. I note that Molé had been reviewing the highest but is now the lowest.

@Cashbail yes,I baked it myself which is why I was uncomfortable with it looking sloppy. But again it tasted good so didn't worry too much about it
