    4 mi speedwalking followed by a few hours of pickleball, survivable only by good prescription arthritis meds, so no real beers for me for several more hours today. In the meantime, this NA poured into a pewter mug that I bought in Aberdeen, Scotland (thus, the thistle ornamentation) while there on business 35 yrs ago. Originally a gift to my father, I inherited it when he passed. Cheers to all.[​IMG]

    The Abt 12 is not the only great beer from St. Bernardus. Really enjoying this Dubbel.

    Your Bad Luck Has Saved You by Deya next. Some breweries have a distinct smell or taste, a house flavor if you will. In Deya’s case it’s lemongrass, and they also hold my distinction for brewery with best head retention and lacing.
