    My daughter just came for a short visit from Columbus....hope she makes it back safely before the roads get too bad with snow!

    For a little Christmas Eve fun I decided to make a Black & Tan from my 2 favorite winter seasonal brews. Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout and Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. 6 Oz of each were poured into a large Tulip glass. The mix looks like the Stout dark black with a thick brown head. The aroma was powerful of both malt and hops. The taste was a balanced. That was not expected. I though the Imperial Stout would overpower the IPA but it didn't . Full mouthfeel and a hoppy bitter finish. Overall worth doing and enjoyable, An example of mixing 2 great beers to make a very good beer,
