Next up from today’s Sierra Nevada Variety box dated 12/8/20 - Hoppy Anniversary 40 Years:



Bottled 11/4/20. Shame, shame, shame...two months old by the time this beer was “Assorted” with its aging siblings and reached my local grocery store ... thank goodness the game has started and the brats should be arriving any moment?

Post run hydration. I normally don't run after a pizza and beer lunch, but since the wife was going out, the sun came out and it's 70, sure, I'll plod along for 3.

 

Lots of peppery snap to this one. Delicious. Helping out with my oldest’s lego set. Very tedious lol.

 

Did a 3 stop curbside pick up today,
Honest Weight, The Brewery at Four Star Farms, Brick and Feather.

Last beer of the day. I'm having an Oak Barrel Stout from Fordham & Dominion. Burnt malts are dominant. Some chocolate & vanilla.

 

This winter's Industrial Arts' Landscape lager release is a Baltic Porter. It's fabulous. Burnt and bitter, it evokes Vikings raiding, pillaging, and burning villages along the Baltic coast. It causes my Finnish and Estonian blood to boil. Cheers!

I'm finishing off the day with a Fordham & Dominion Oak Barrel Stout. I't's full bodied and full of cocao and coffee notes. Burnt malts dominate the nose and palate.
