    Another new one for my dry month - day 5...

    Picked up this one to try, as 1) it was marked down, and 2) I like the Clausthaler original....this is actually very good! 5 days down - 26 more to go!

    Drinking this down the left side of my mouth due to tooth pain. Went for a root canal today after my first assessment yesterday and they recommended extraction because the tooth is cracked. So have to go back tomorrow to a different guy to get it pulled. Its a big one- #3 in the back. Fkn pissed. For the run around, the tooth loss and the post pull healing time.[​IMG]

    I have a JA PB and J Framinghammer in the fridge. Who knows when I will be able to drink it.

    I don't have Tripels enough, and when I do, it's most often Westmalle. Karmeliet is a different animal: absolutely a classic Tripel, yet different (spicier and fruitier) than Westmalle. It's almost as good - same tier, easily - just in a slightly different way.

    It's delicious, and I should have it more often. But again: I should have Tripels more often. :slight_smile:

    Yeah this place near me Monte Cristo Mexican Grill makes some really good food. There are a few locations, Copley Square I think, East Boston, Revere, maybe some others. I always order the same pork carnitas quesadillas and ask for extra sauces, and usually get a tamale for backup. It is a huge tamale almost the size of a brick, with a big piece of roasted chicken and peppers inside, for $4. I was going through some beers recently and found a Pb & J Framinghammer bottle too, as well as a Mole version. Hope you have a speedy recovery and feel better soon. Cheers!

    Drinking a DIPA from Brick and Feather Brewery out of MA. These guys make some great beers across many styles, and this one is no exception. Featuring sabro fairly prominently, which translates to a lot of coconut in my palette....this beer may not be for everyone. However, I am enjoying it on this Tuesday evening.
