What beer are you drinking now? #3001

I'm now having an XPA from Flying Fish. There's sweet grapefruit & orange with a wheat backbone. Good, but not great. I rated it a 3.79, which was just a tick above it's BAaverage of 3.73.

I need to keep cleaning and organizing my workshop, so I'll have a beer to motivate me. I got the first Pfizer COVID shot today. Interesting that they put the manufacturing date on the vaccination card - 4/30/2020. That dose was sitting in a freezer somewhere for almost nine months. (Here's the one at the pharmacy where I got my shot.)

I may be a heathen, but not sorry. I am sipping on this BCBS Mon Cheri while dealing with the post-holiday onslaught of work crisis', from the home office. I figure that I'll sip on it over the next two work day afternoons, and keep it out of sight during the Zoom calls

 

Starting the day off with this beauty from Collective Arts, with whom I just placed an online order. Need to replenish my go to beer.

Lagunitas Super Cluster is next up. A really nice looking beer. On the nose it's hoppy with grapefruit, lemon, pineapple & floral notes. On the palate, mallets show up and provide some balance the hoppiness. This one earns it's BArating of Outstanding.

Lupulus Hibernatus. Wonderful biere d'hiver (winter beer) from Belgium. Not too much spice added, just some cinnamon. Nice!

Did three online orders today. One from Collective Arts, one from a contract brewer in Toronto to get some Lervig and Omnipollo stuff and one from Wellington to get my go to Imperial Stout. By ordering online I saved $17 on a 24 of the Imperial Stout and $24 on a 30 of the IPA. Good deal.

Currently drinking this very good IPA from Omnipollo.

This song was huge back in the day and the message really spoke to me in my younger days. Still a great song. Cheers.
