Naughty sauce golden milk stout with coffee. I usually dislike white stouts but this was very good[IMG]

This is the DDH version. Let me tell you something, trust the bottles from Toppling. You will never be disappointed. That's how I was first introduced to them.

That froth makes your pic look like still-shot of a motion photo. Just waiting for the frame to resume action and show the white waves come down along the outside of your pint glass.

Wife forgot my Trop while she was out...so I ran down to the liquor store down the road.

Grabbed a 12er of Trop and what do I see beside it?

    Bell’s — Hopslam

Wasn't planning on getting Hopslam this year, but there it was for $4 less per sixer than last year and I caved. And it was worth it. Cheers!

Transient’s hop game is on point, IMHO. This is tropical pineappley deliciousness, again IMHO.

Brewing Projekt Gauvapplerry Puff Tart Sour, 4.78%. Pours a thick muddy orange, with a 1+ finger off-white head that left some residue and lacing. Nose is predictably a mashup of guava, pineapple, cherry, and vanilla. Taste is pretty damn bland actually, slightly sweet, slightly tart. Decent mouthfeel, overall good. This is hands-down the blandest sour, fruit or otherwise, that I've ever had - and one of the five blandest of any style. Almost like they put way too much water in it, or not enough add-junks.

    3.66/5 rDev -6.9%
    look: 3.75 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.5

I usually love Brewing Projekt sours, so I'm really baffled with this poor showing. They can't possibly have intended it be this bland. Yes, I did roll the can to agitate the puree before opening.

I felt like I was going to vomit at one point. I lost some weight during my bout with COVID. I'm still not at full strength, but it was extremely fun. I love that shit.

Well, shit man. Keep working at it, get your strength back.

I’ve seen this shit up close working in the funeral industry, so I know it’s nothing to play with. Protecting myself best as I can, but people still need to be embalmed and taken care of. But that is what I signed up for...

Howdy BA's! This beer is sure hitting the spot on a kind of muggy night.

This will be my last post regarding COVID, but I think it's pertinent to share. I left PA to isolate myself when it all went down. I'm the guy wiping door knobs, wearing my mask, and distancing. When I resumed tennis over the summer, I never touched my face after touching the ball and I never got close to my playing partner. Indoors, I wear a mask. I ordered groceries online, and did curbside pick-up for 95% of my beer. I am not perfect, nor am I trying to make that claim. Most of my friends think I went overboard with my "avoid COVID" practices. They said I was nuts. Moral of the story, I think, at least. If COVID wants to find you, it will. Some people get lucky and have no symptoms at all, others struggle like me. And some, tragically, die. This whole f*cking thing sucks. Stay safe.
