Chelsea Brewing Much of a Muchness German Pilsner

 

Spending time making pizzas and fixing bicycles in the "fortress of solitude" (to borrow a phrase proudly found elsewhere on WBAYDN thread, credit to @beergoot ) are a thing for me. But my wife warns about getting bike-grease on the pizza. I'm more concerned with getting pizza-grease on my bikes.

 

Have a good Saturday. Did another 11-7AM with another one tonight. 2 days off tomorrow. My uncle texted me at 7AM as I was getting off and asked about breakfast in Akron. 40 minutes drive for him, 20 for me. Woody's Place was awesome. I only had 3 things of apps yesterday at the tavern so I was adequately hungry. Sausage biscuits and home fries with gravy over the whole thing, and a sausage, mushroom, bacon, onion omelet with rye toast. Regular coffee and cream. Had to do the wide angle shot


This is cheap and good. I don't care what anyone else says.

Was on a Black Metal playlist for 2 days on Spotify. I finally got last.fm pro and I should have done it way sooner. Only $30 a year, even cheaper than untappd. Great data analytics and charts.

Moving right along...I had this next beer on tap at the brewery yesterday, and despite the oniony Mosaic nose, I liked the taste and feel well enough to bring home a 4 pk/$16 to explore further - “Mosaic Material” a Mosaic [American] IPA (5.9%) by Angry Chair, Tampa FL:



No canning date, but I’ll venture within the last week or two. Poured at 56°. Onion and garlic Mosaic nose, but otherwise quite drinkable. Lemon rind and some tropical fruit. Not a hazy. Medium light body. Easy drinking. Reminds me of Yellow Rose, a Mosaic SMASH out of TX. Cheers!
