That's the ticket. I've became a Boddy's drinker after I was over in the UK back in the late 70s or early 80s. Same old widget and mouthfeel. The beer is way better when pulled, but the cans are cheaper than a plane ticket.

Didn’t go to the weed store at least. Baby steps. Picked up some movies at the library. Not quite sure who Logan Paul is but, rumor is he’s gonna get murdered soon.

 

Polish beer in a Czech glass. West-Slavic mix up. This Okocim sometimes really hits the malt spot.

 

White Elm Campfire Karaoke BBA Coconut S'mores Imperial Stout, 13% ABV. Pours thick and black with a one-finger medium-brown head that left little lacing. Nose is coconut, marshmallow, chocolate, graham, and light bourbon. Taste is heavy coconut up front, then chocolate, graham, slight vanilla, and marshmallow on the close. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter. Excellent mouthfeel, overall outstanding to near world-class. Not a big coconut fan, and never heard of s'mores with coconut, so for me it slightly hurts the flavor.

Lager time. My lightly smoked cherrywood shortribs getting ready for a low and slow braise. Pastrami reuben for lunch. Twas a tad chilly smoking. Not too bad.

Have a dozen older baseball pictures from back in the day, including Cobb and Ruth. Here are two of Hank Aaron, from Milwaukee and Atlanta, printed about the time of my birth in 1969. Got to see him honored at Milwaukee County Stadium decades ago. A class act and inner ring Hall of Famer on and off the field.

1983 was the most incredible year featured this morning on WXRT's Saturday Morning Flashback hosted by Johnny Mars. Could play at least a dozen great tunes featured today, will start with these two and continue throughout the weekend.
