Good afternoon Advocates. Waiting on delivery of my weight plates, which shipped today. Also picked up a couple of spin lock handles, which will give me more versatility and allow for heavier stuff than my fixed weight dumbbells (2x35 lb. are my max fixed weight) for things like incline press, bent rows, etc. Also removed the quad extension/hamstring curl attachment from my weight bench today. We do other things for legs, so it’s useless. At four feet by two, it freed up eight square feet in a 110 square foot workout room, so freedom of movement is much better.

Drinking Nebuchadnezzar, a fairly regular and very good DIPA.

Canada’s Sam Roberts Band doing one of their more well known songs. Cheers. [IMG]

Snow has started here in the 413, heading your way @LarryV.
Enjoying a Scotch Ale from Exhibit "A" brewing. Silly long title, may be my new pet peeve with breweries.
Sweet, Malt driven, nice ABV (well hidden)

[IMG] This one at $12.99 a 4 rack and canned on 1/20/2021 is the best local for the buck going.

Bierstadt Lagerhaus -- Slow Pour Pilsner (German-style pilsner)

    4.29/5 rDev -0.5%
    look: 3.75 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.25

Clear, lightly golden body; outstanding carbonation; somewhat thin yet lasting white head, dense and creamy; nice rings of foam cascading down the glass. Gentle grain aroma, cracker-like; a faint whiff of noble hops. Fantastic pilsner taste; light malt base with a moderate hop bitterness; light herbal hop flavor; clean tasting. Light in body; crisp on the palate.

As of this review, this German-style pilsner is ranked #4 for the style. It is quite easy to understand why. And I'll bet if the beer wasn't so cold that the head would stand out more, resulting in a slightly higher score from me. As it is (and where it counts), the taste and mouthfeel are spot on. I'm glad more is readily available...

Having a Vanilla PM Dawn local cold brewed coffee stout from Trillium right now. Dark, rich, roasted coffee, creamy fresh vanilla, caramel notes, charred marshmallow, hint of dark dried fruit, real nice. Cheers!

Featuring the glass from Rhinegeist's 4th anniversary party... still the best in-brewery experience I've had in my life!

Sip of Sunshine, because I need some sun on this dreary day. I really need a pick me up, advocates. Just one of those days. We all have them. You just move forward. Much love.

Second beer of the day is from Norway’s Lervig. Kind of a new favorite for as long as I can get it.

While lifting weights I like big music or anthems. U2, The Waterboys, The Killers, Snow Patrol, Coldplay and stuff like that works. IMO, this is [IMG] easily U2’s most under appreciated song.
