I usually grill or smoke all year round
I have a Weber, electric cabinet smoker and a fairly budget pellet stove. I would like a Traeger or a Z grill. My kids got me an Ooni pizza oven for Christmas, it’s supposed be coming in March. It cooks a pizza in a minute, heats up to 950 degrees. It runs on pellets. Can’t wait to try it. I was talking to my wife last week, she calls me her personal chef, when I’m cooking it’s my happy place. Cheers

All Dressed Up and Nowhere To Go from Evil Twin NYC. So many people talk about orange peel and orange rind as descriptors; this one is it. Holy. Nailed it. Peace...
    I love you.

I used to sing this song to my ex. She loved it. I can't sing it to my present for obvious reasons.

    Sup Advocates!

Sloop brewing makes some great beers and this one is no exception. Big bubble gum notes coming through, awesome stuff and a great base for a beer like this.

    Cheers!

Have you tried the hazy DIPA yet? I'd love to see that in a regular pint can lineup. Gonna grab White Out as soon as I see it.

I get a feeling of deja vu. Hotel drinking GITM and eating grocery store sushi.

Falls in between somewhere, but leans toward Furious I'd say. Just top of my head flavor comparison

I love achor brewing but most of the time their beers are either out of date for their date code is way to hard to understand. Are the cans better ?

I haven't, but in the next two days I will I'm sure. The Imp Stout was the real deal IMO, and I had no clue it was 13.4% ABV until I checked today

... @JackHorzempa: I tried a different glass (a stemless wine glass)...perhaps a bit more bright citrus on the nose, but I really can't say I get any lime in the smell...but I have one can left (possibly more if it's still in stock the next time I hit my local), and like @nc41 - if it's for empirical studies and the well-being of mankind, I'm in full-tilt for the sake of the scientific process...:stuck_out_tongue:

Downing an Aslan Color of Sleep "Czech-style Dark Lager". Well, OK then. tasty beer, with just enough roast to make things interesting.

I pick up hints of lemon (vs. lime) but we all have our own unique palates.

As long as you enjoy drinking the beer that is by far the important thing. As my wife's Uncle Willy is wont to say: "Don't overthink it".

    Cheers!

I’m not in the mood for these types of beers as often as I should. I’ve had this bottle for at least 3 years and it is wonderful. It’s like yeasty raisin bread in a glass. A little chocolatey plum too. No trace of alcohol at all, this is sublime. Isles-Rangers as intense as always.

It is like you were standing in my kitchen earlier and watched me not let that thin t-bone rest long enough to cool down in the center before the finish sear. I admit, I am a lazy, cheating scientist and not an expert chef!

I wish I had a better nose, but most things subtle are simply lost in me. I get the big fruity NEIPAS, but subtle nah.
