    My bad...

Still nothing strongly lemon, either. I guess I'd describe my citrus notes as some sort of generic orange/lemon/grapefruit...nothing strongly leaning towards anyone particular citrus fruit, just a general sense of a citrus presence...

Whatever works brother! As long as you enjoy the finished product. At least your taking the time.....nothing like a T-bone over a hot Hardwood charcoal fire though....

Beach Hippie IPA from Persimmon Hollow Brewing, about 20 minutes from Daytona Beach. If you are down for speed week or bike week give them a visit, great little local brewery.

Is it RAH-OOL or RAWHL? I prefer the Hispanic pronunciation. Sounds way cooler for a club name.

Today we are having a special beer in honor of our 22 yr old Russian kitty girl (Grandma, haha). She went to the Rainbow Bridge today to meet our other kitty, Frankie. Cheers!

Well, I have never stated or intimated "strongly". I have consistently mentioned "hint" and "bit of" when detailing the lemon flavor I pick up in this beer.
And since your palate is your palate and not mine this is not at all surprising. I can't taste for you and vice versa.

I still think it is noteworthy that with this latest drinking vessel you are picking up "citrus" while in your prior discussion (i.e., the side-by-side tasting) you made zero mention of "citrus".

We have probably exhausted the discussion of this topic.

    Have a good evening.

    Cheers!

[IMG] Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned on 12/28/2020. Pours a very attractive near pitch black with a 2 plus finger sticky brown head that leaves webs of lace as it slowly settles into a thin layer of bubbles. 4.75

Aroma is coffee beans, hazelnut, cocoa nibs, vanilla bean, and toffee and I will say this is as good a smelling stout as I have ever sniffed. Intoxicating..... 5

Taste follows expresso, hazelnut, vanilla, caramel, and toffee and really impressive. 4.75

Mouthfeel is bigger than medium, gentle creamy carbonation, not dry, and at 8.4% it drinks slightly bigger, but is so good it is a struggle to just sip. 4.75

Overall I am pretty damn blown away with this one. I am trying to slowly savor, but it is so amazingly tasty I can’t stop myself. 4.75
