    @lordofthewiens keep him away from the cake by bribing him with something better. Occasionally I lie to myself that I've trained him well enough to not eat anything till I tell him its ok

    Good afternoon, advocates. Inspired by @tolar111, I'm enjoying a classic American IPA. I've said this many times, so please forgive me for saying it again (haha). This was the IPA that won the first blind tasting I ever participated in, besting Alesmith IPA by a score of 4-3. Cheers!

    Mariotta, it was basically Pete's band without Pete. I think he played with them once in a club in NYC during the tour

    Beer number two is Haze Mama, a NEIPA from Great Lakes Brewery in Ontario. Don’t know if these guys ever make it into the States, but I’d recommend grabbing anything in the IPA universe you see from them. Very solid. There’s a polar vortex in western Canada. It’s like -44 Celsius in Edmonton today. Fuck that’s cold. Cheers. [​IMG]

    I got to try that over the weekend, I thought it was pretty good and easy drinking, the oat milk providing a pleasant smooth feel and taste to it. I would be happy to drink it again. Cheers!

    Good call, I really respect the fact that you can drink the best of the new stuff and maintain an appreciation for the classics. Btw I would literally kill for a bottle of TH Green
