I said I was done with Nugget Nectar, yet here I am. Haha! BAs, if any of you still love this beer, please let me know. Again, it's not bad at all. Just not what I remember from the Harrisburg days. Peace...

Today's PT was brutal, but yielded good results. Four weeks to the day after total knee replacement surgery and my knee's flexion has now reached 130°. Muscles around the knee are another story however as the pain is on a different curve altogether.
A little backstory concerning my left leg: I broke my leg an inch above the ankle 58 years ago today on Mt. Snow, VT. The setting of the break wasn't ideal as I can point my left toes like a ballerina, about two inches further than the right, in fact. Needless to say, my gait has been less than perfect all these years. Almost six years ago, my left hip was replaced, and now the knee. Except at birth, I have spent three different nights total in my lifetime in a hospital: Feb. 9th,1963, May 5th, 2015, and Jan. 12th, 2021; all for my left leg!
    Cheers!!!

Good evening to all Advocates and best wishes for a good adventure to @BabtistBinger.
    I'm drinking

Vocation Brewery (Hebden Bridge, ENG) + Yakima Chief Hops (Hop growers and farmers from Washington, USA) - DDH PALE HBC 692 EDITION - Double Dry Hopping Pale Ale (5.7%)

A very good double Dry Hopping Pale Ale, single hop, with the experimental hop HBC 692 (now called Talus).
On the nose immediately fruity hints of citrus fruits (grapefruit and orange).
Fairly abundant foam with a vertical pour, but then passes out quickly and a hint of it remains on top.
Super smooth body in the mouth, right carbonation... really very light and drinkable.
Very fruity taste (it almost seems to me a Juicy Pale Ale): especially grapefruit and orange (sweet and also the red orange). Summer fruit too, perhaps a hint of mango...
Slightly bitter finish, but with a really barely hinted bitterness
More useful to "dry" the beer on the tongue than to want to engrave as a characterizing element of the same.
On the palate the citrus and fruity notes remain which increasingly take on the nuance of ripe orange and summer fruit...
Tasty, light (excellent carbonation), fresh, fairly balanced ... very pleasant

Beer number three is an old favorite for me and would fit into that “if I only had five different beers to drink for the rest of my life” category. A classic. Cheers. [IMG]
