I cannot remember my first concert but I think it was Leon Russell in NYC 1968.

 

We are still virtual but going back next month. No shots available to teachers yet but we are being told soon. I would greatly prefer to at least have my first shot before going back in person, but it’s looking like timing will not be in our favor.

 

Last one, back home, this is a magnificent dessert/breakfast beer from my favorite brewery which I’m splitting with Little O. I could drink this until it came out my ears.

Cool. Hard to explain that marathon feeling, particularly those last 10km. This pic is actually our wedding invitation. Very untraditional, I realize, but this race was a huge moment in our lives, so why not. I really miss running, but the injuries started piling up. Walking and biking spare my aging body. Cheers.

Troegs Fest Lager

 

I gave up trying to get the Covid vaccine. Virginia’s rollout is a mess. You would think that a 69 year old pathetic guy with MS (and a shitload of other health problems) would not have to wait months or longer to get the vaccine. The more I try to get an appointment the more frustrated I get.

Sorry for the outburst but it felt good to vent. Crappy weather in Richmond so I made sure I was well stocked with beer.
