Pre-dinner prep beer - Civi Society’s “Got ‘Em” NEIPA:

Listed as aDIPA at only 7.8%, with Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, Citra T90 and Citra Cryo. Another day, another sweet tropical and citrus fruit punch. I like, it is very drinkable, soft and rounded...reminds me of the feel I get from the OH beers I’ve had lately... Cheers!

Macanudo gold was my go-to in the CT casinos, if I was buying on premises. Not my favorite of the old classics, but always very reliable. If you revisit Macanudo, I'd go with some of their more premium offerings, as they're more rewarding for an experienced smoker.

I prefer Habano and Double Ligero wrappers to maduro, but a few makers have some damn smooth maduro options (Cain and Gurkha come to mind). Habano wrappers are about as rich, but typically smoother.

Damn, this is good, especially for a Riwaka-focused brew.

It certainly did! A good pairing is a must. A strong cigar can easily overpower a light beer, and vice versa.

Oh yeah, like everything he does. Its on Cecil Taylor's Arista Freedom label, so that says something. Though not as out there as some of Taylor's stuff at the time, still excellent more in an angular Monk mode with this one, than pounding avant garde.

Looks like I need to spend a little more time behind the kit. Not long ago, after a few minutes of warm up, I could pick right up and jump in with the "Porcaro Shuffle". Just tried and was not what it should be. Like the old man used to say "the only thing that will get you to Carnegie Hall is practice" He wasnt very philosophical but he was correct on this.

Second time trying the most recent in the one off Collective Arts numbered IPA series and I’ll stick with my initial assessment that it’s pretty much in the middle of the series quality wise.

A little more Canadian Alt Country. Cheers. [IMG]

Making a couple of black and tans to spruce up what I believe to be lackluster GL stouts. Not bad! I mean,, after all St Patty's Day is approaching. I'll be in need of my true love, hoppy beer, following these

Working on my 2nd pint of a new Helles from Boundary Bay. It's nice, easy drinking, perfect for a certain road.
