Just finished on the cycle and about to start a puzzle. Picked up a four pack of this Foundation Juicy Jam yesterday. Extremely refreshing. Cherry peach tangerine and cranberry juice.

 

You know a beer is going to be good when your favorite beer store owner says “do you want to try this?” at 11 in the morning and proceeds to open a can and he doesn’t even serve beer on premises.

I’ve gotten into this band recently in a way I never did when they were around.

 

So, my city runs an annual documentary film festival. A great event. Fifty to sixty films shown on seven screens all within a five minute walk of each other downtown. We book a couple of restaurants and make a weekend of it. Well, this year it’s virtual...but they are charging the same price. Well, I’m sorry, but it’s just not the same experience at all. Besides, I’ve got hundreds of free docs on Hoopla and Kanopy. I think they’re a little FUBAR with this idea.

3 Floyds Brian Boru Irish Red Ale. It’s been some time since they’ve brewed this one. Another nostalgic one from these guys for me...this beer made me love hoppy reds and I still do to this day. Used to look forward to these 22 oz bombers released in February every year. It’s no traditional Irish Red...hopped to the gills in typical FFF style, but it really works with the bready, slightly toasty and slightly caramelly base. Just as good as I remember it.

Ha! Yeah man... just bought some more Hallow today. Stuff is stellar....so happy to see it out here. . Cheers and hope 2021 allows for my usual Chicagoland time.
