Ooh, Linda Ronstadt. She was beautiful and boy could she sing.

 

The Genesee Cream Ale, while more expensive than it had been (it's still cheap), I think it tastes better, crisper, not nearly as offensively sweet as it did. Probably my imagination, but at least my wallet nods in agreement.

Archetype Brewing (Asheville, NC) Timely Surrender saison - one of those beers you really wish you had bought multiple bottles when you had the chance! Excellent Belgian style saison.

 

First time for this one...not sure what I think yet after first few sips...

Watching David Attenborough’s Seven Worlds, One Planet on BBC Earth while getting ready for movies. I’ve mentioned here before that he’s a hero of mine. A life well lived Indeed.

Beer number four is my pre-movie beer. Still haven’t quite figured out my movie beer(s) and am totally stumped on my post-movie beer. Who knew Sunday’s could be so complicated. Cheers.

Outside of a few craft beers here and there I have been doing various spirits and macro Lagers for when I am in the mood for beer that tastes like beer (and the added bonus is that they aren't too bad on the wallet). I had a Modelo Negra recently after not having one in years and was pretty impressed for what it is. Tonight I am having an Especial with lime and it's really hitting the spot after a four mile walk (and we finally saw some sun and milder temps today, it felt good).

What can you say really? Crisp, clean, just a tad bit of bitterness to keep it from being too sweet... A pretty simple beer for when you just want a "beer". There's many other Lagers I would grab way before this one, especially some locals e.g. Sly Fox Helles, but this does the trick for now. Prost!

 

Looks like Europa League will be the only chance for our Spurs to get back to CL. Always, every game we give a sloppy goal...what say you to that José???
