I just got an EZ curl bar yesterday. The angles are much smaller than the one you posted. Before Covid, the YMCA I went to had a bar like yours also. I am not sure if it was called an EZ curl bar though.

You must be a competitive bodybuilder or power/Olympic lifter. A two hour weight lifting session is pretty intense unless you spend half the time shooting the shit with fellow lifters (like I do) or texting a lot. Anyway, I have to admit that I am impressed.

I'm very pissed off at my parents right now. They had a chance to move to San Diego when houses were 55k. Fucking Karen

No, not a competitive body builder. I used to lift a lot then for various reasons let is slide for a while. Thing is, when I get going with something, it's all in, balls to the wall and right to the edge. I've always taken unnatural pleasure in physically pushing myself as far as I can and I'm not wasting a lot of time during these sessions. Cheers.

Well, I feel very fortunate that I was able to get vaccinated today - I lucked out getting an appointment, it's still a major pain in the ass for people to find an appointment.

I got the Moderna vaccine this morning at 10 am, it was a painless shot. So far (knock on wood), no noticeable side effects. I also like that I was able to book it at a local grocery store pharmacy, there were no lines to wait in and I got to do some grocery shopping afterwards.

I also took the day off since the morning was pretty much shot and in case I felt crappy this afternoon. My best advice if you want to be vaccinated is to be persistent and hopefully you'll snag an appointment. Having a Shed Mountain IPA at the moment...

Finishing off my first (of 2) 4-packs from the January 2021 production run. The February batch should be arriving to my house in the next two days.

If there was a semi-distributed beer that I'd say is my favorite, Wookey Jack very well could be it. It has everything! It's rich and chocolatey. It's got some hop punch with Citra & Amarillo, which gives it not only bitterness but a decidedly new-school fruity quality. What more could you ask for in a beer? (Well, I'm not sold on this can art vs. the old classy bottle.)

    Absolutely fantastic.

I try to go once a month. And a good portion of that goes out in BIF boxes. People are sick though- even yesterday I saw guys/gals picking up 10 cases....like a grand worth of beer. Just ridiculous.

Miskatonic Dungeon Master Series, Four Roses bourbon barrel aged Owlbear 11% pastry stout, maple and coffee influenced. Very subtle coffee (good for me), nice restrained maple, and a deep, bubbling undercurrent of bourbon. Smooth.

    2012 bottle purchased at brewery.
    Bottle courtesy of Pstone530.
    Dark cloudy copper. Fizzy head.
Smells of pear, candied sugar, oak.
Tastes same with a little tart brett on the tail end. Esters. Belgian-esque.
    Fairly dry. Decent carbonation.
Fairly good. Obviously old. Probably cellared properly since recently purchased from brewery. Would prefer a bit more tartness than sweetness.
