    Great beer, but the reason I replied to your post is because I’m curious how you have zero beer karma points after over 13 years on the site! I mean, you reviewed a place, you have some posts and likes. How does that happen?

    I've drank a shitload of Stone IPA recently. I hope Greg stays true to his word when I told him I loved him and he proceeded to state that the OG could make a reappearance down the road in limited form. He also told me that he loved me too. Haha! Love wins every single time, advocates. Don't you ever forget it. Cheers!!!

    I’m with you. My wife and I went to Burlington for our anniversary a year and a half ago. Foam was fun to hang out at and had many tasty beers.

    look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4

    Reviewing vintage 2020 @ 10.8% ABV (maybe 10.6 - it's hard to read the last number)

    Coal-black body; thin yet lasting head. Coffee, cocoa, and cigar ash on the nose; very light touch of charred wood. Milk chocolate and whiskey flavors up front; dark sweetness; coffee; no perceivable hop bitterness. Heavy body; slick and oily; smooth residual sugar presence coats the palate.

    By and large, this is a fine barrel aged porter. The coconut is likely hidden within the overall sweetness, but the coffee makes itself known in the smell and taste. Pretty good and potent.
