Thanks. Best damn beer shop looks like a good site. Most of what I clicked on is sold out though, like all the BA Fremont stuff. Frustrating to even have it appear as an option.

Tavour has been a good service to me, but I've so much good beer locally I've got no reason to use them. Thought I was done until that Dark Star variant showed up. Nothing much good since.

I get it. I am spoiled here in CO. Not only do we have locals who are killing it, we get distro from all over. Heady dropped a couple weeks ago. I nabbed all the DS and BBomb variants off my shelves. I grabbed some other half from tavour. But I can get it from other outlets. It is what it is.

I just had my first experience with Craftshack recently and it went well, but their markup is even worse than Tavour from what I saw. I was given a gift certificate so I was all about splurging, but the Abraxas set that I purchased from Craftshack was $27 more expensive than from Tavour, and their shipping was $25 vs Tavour's $15.

That's true. But, Tavour won't deliver to my area. At least you can earn points on craftshack and use them for discounts.

Is it just me, or does everyone else get a bunch of beers on their feed that you all want to try the day after your crate closes....?

Tavour has been kind of an IPA, fruited sour wasteland to me lately. I opened a crate 2 weeks and added nothing since. The boozy bundle from Untitled Art sounds amazing though. A 20% abv barrel aged double iced barleywine?? Very excited for that! Also glad to see cinnamon coconut B-bomb come back around.

Tavour is back in favour with me.

It’s finally happening. I’ve got a shipment that’s currently delayed an hour away from the final delivery source. Not sure what’s happening in Minneapolis but doesn’t appear to be weather related.

Anyone use the site craftshack? Ordered some stouts from there recently and it was a bit pricey. Looked at Doomed by Anchorage and they’re charging 51$ for a 375 ml bottle. Just was wondering if this price is similar to prices on tavour. Cheers all!

In the past week, 2 seltzers showed up my Tavour feed. Both sold out quite quickly. Ugh.

Doom was 33 from tavour. The 50 dollar ones have been 10 years, ADWTD and blessed

I have found Tavour's pricing to be very competitive, especially in comparison to PA, but one advantage for craftshack is you don't have to hope for an invitation to buy

And overall I like the uncertainty and anticipation that Tavour provides. Will this notification be another boring "beer" smoothie or is it a double barrel iced barleywine I didn't even know existed? It will never be anywhere close to being my primary source for beer but it is a fun novelty.

ADWTD was 100 on mine. Wendigo was 50.
Also my last delay was absolutely wether related. The beer would have shown up on the first day of the projected delivery window however it came on the second. So winning.

Tavour is an awesome idea and I love the fact that I can get beers that I would otherwise not have had the opportunity to purchase. Of course the shipping issues are annoying (and most of the time not their fault) but one of the other frustrating things is the fact that a lot of the beers I get in my feed are beers that already exist in my market. Not sure what algorithms they are using and how many zones they have but the zone that I'm in needs some work done. Beers from KCBC, Humble Forager, Foreign Objects, Untitled Art, Urban Artifact, and so so many more keep popping up. These exact same beers are available (and fresher) in the Philly market.

Craftshack prices are on a par with what I see in my local beer store. Shipping charges are steep. Give Halftimebeverage.com a try. Lower prices and a flat $15.99 shipping fee. I was surprised to snag a bottle of Dirty Bastard for $2.49. It costs $7.00 in my beer store.

I think I mentioned it earlier in the thread, but I recently ordered from Craftshack. Everything was seamless with great communication and customer service, but their prices are much higher than Tavour from what I've seen. I ordered the Abraxas set that Tavour charged either $70 for, and it was $101 from Craftshack. If I didn't have a gift certificate I never would have made the purchase, but it was nice to splurge.
I'm sure it's like this in a lot of states, but I'm across the state in Pittsburgh and of the beers you named I only see Foreign Objects on shelves locally. If Tavour treats each state as its own market, then I can see how it would be difficult to only offer unique beers to people.

I decided to go a little crazy and buy the Funk Factory bundle. $72 for four 750ml bottles of wilds and saisons seemed like a decent deal to me, and this will be my first Funk Factory brews.
