I see the Bucs have extended Brady-no surprise-and in the process saved themselves $19M against the cap for next season. That’s real money, some of which they might consider spending on James White, who was Brady’s extremely reliable safety valve out of the backfield in NE.

Dragon's Milk from New Holland

Red Oak Heller Bock.7% abv, I’d guess it’s their spring Bock.

Very nice beer, if smooth malt backbone is your thing his beer is pure velvet. I could use a tad more hops but then it wouldn’t be what it is. I’d like a better dense foamy head too, but that just for pictures. Canned 2/24. I can’t rate to style because I’ve never had another Heller Bock, but the enjoymeter says 4. Super drinkable though, you could easily get into trouble pounding 2-3 beers.

 

Little light community drama had me roll through that Chimay quickly. Onto another light brew, a Helles from Bluejacket in DC:


“Drama” unfolded in the background where our neighbors noticed a hawk that wasn’t acting very hawk-like. Animal control captured the bird and noted it looked uninjured but hungry for its considerable size - “poison” of some sort was a guess. Off to a vet and hopefully a healthy release in the future.

Clever Girl and seven of her sisters visited on Wednesday. An IPA brewed by Triple Crossing.

Daughter number two participated in competitive gymnastics from age 6 to age 16. At the end she trained with the team 4 days a week for three hours per training session.

We traveled all over the country for the meets. Her “career” ended when she tore her ACL while participating in her high school team.
