Pale, translucent straw yellow body topped with a thick, frothy white head. Classic barnyard / horse blanket smell; over-ripe fruit. Beautiful taste; citrus-like; lime and lemon; white grapefruit; very mild light cereal grain presence; juicy. Medium body; acidic and tangy throughout; biting.

I can't say definitely that I pick up pear features per se, yet the beer as a whole is utterly fabulous for a wild ale. I can only imagine that there is some wonderful local terroir in play here. I highly recommend this one for fans of wild ales.

...and still nursing some Old Potrero rye...as a long-time victim of identity theft, I can add a new chapter to my experiences...the state labor and employment department sent me a nice letter saying they've received my unemployment claim filed earlier this month. This is a hoot as I've been fully retired for way over a year. Anyway, I filed the fraudulent claim report online to the state and the local police department, and I will be more than happy to file any affidavits or attend any court hearings for the perpetrator (which I'll probably never be asked to do... but...)...at least this doesn't directly involve any bank, credit card, or Social Security things (for now)...manet semper vigilanti...!!!
