Tasting on point with the past few releases from what I can recall  Big grapefruit, pine, some dank herbals and a caramel malt backing. Not blowing my socks off but at 11.7% definitely massaging them.

I knew you would get your hands on that. I had Essential Hatchet and liked that one but this is better IMHO. Also dont forget about The Streets- two versions this year. Cheers!

Already halfway through beer no. 2. I doubt I could catch a buzz after the third of these. Not that I was trying. Tasty beer though! Cheers!

It is. They actually grind their own corn to the precise consistency too. All about local/sustainability. It shows in the final product.

I didn't order last week but this week there are too many options I think it's mandatory that I get another delivery, especially since the variety in the fridge is dwindling. I've had some of Trillium's more traditional lagers on draft at Fort Point over the last few years and some have been pretty good. They had a few lagers with corn as well that I really thought were great, though some people might've said it tasted too much like corn, which is why I actually liked it ha. Kent Falls makes some great beer too. I picked up The Streets which I've had a few times, missed the Streets On Streets again, didn't really try for it though. The Essential Series is pretty good, just with the American hops make it taste less traditional like a Pilsner, Helles, AAL, what have you. Every beer has it's place. Cheers!

I really like it when breweries use local ingredients. I'll admit that I can't always tell a difference, but I just love the whole idea of being able to get the local ingredients close by.

Thats the thing Trill has gotten a bad rap with the Employee pays, the house yeast change, blah blah. And hey they had a few issues but all seems well now. And people think theyre just the hazies but there doing a great job with Lagers, Stouts and that BW Daily Serving series. Seems good to me.

I honestly still don't enjoy the original flagship beers as much as I used to, and I wish I did, something is just different and they don't seem as good. That said, most of the brand new beers they have been releasing I have really liked, for instance the Ave series has been better to me than the regular Street series lately, and most of the collab IPAs I've had have been great. Occasionally I have an old beer and it's still good, but I think the way that they brew sort of like a new beer every time just hasn't been as good lately as the older versions, as much as I don't usually like when people say things like "it's not as good as it used to be". The stouts, oak aged wild ales, wine hybrids, fruit smoothie sours, lagers, etc have all been good too, and pretty much everything I've tried on draft, and all their experimental ingredient stuff. They should even have some spontaneous lambic-style beers coming down the line, and maybe even a winery, who knows. Hell, I even had a couple fruity seltzers there that I could drink all day, though wouldn't want to replace the beers of course. They are the best local Boston brewery, definitely my favorite. Lamplighter is great, Night Shift is pretty good, lot of other good breweries further out of the city as well, Trillium is definitely staking it's claim in the area though. Cheers!

VERY under appreciated brewery in GA. Mexican Empire is still my favorite. Black Gold Schwarzbier is up there too!
