I typically have a similar reaction to session beers in general, this particular one did not work for me (GI Little Risk).

Moving on to a second new to me Goose Island, a beer released last year that they appear to be keeping in the regular Summer rotation.

    Goose Island Sox Golden Ale

Full review here, long story short, this is a solid light golden ale bursting with enjoyable hops and malt action, light, easy drinking and a solid option.

1981 was this morning's flashback year. Many great tunes, here a two from my two favorite British Invasion bands.

This was almost the opening theme for the American version of The Office.

OB is brewed here, it’s ridiculous all you can find is Dales, unless you but the combo pack, but it’s a good combo pack would be excellent if they dropped One- ly.

My inner Mike is trying to ignore the temptation of whiskey this early in my day. Do you have to moderate the "other beverage" thread as well? It's a mad house over there

So a very English IPA?

Bell's 35th RIS has been a big want since its release, and it is.....OUTSTANDING. Expedition is one of my favorite beers of all time, and to have it improved upon is feakin' great!

    4th Review. A favorite Brewer.
Standard NE Haze bod with soaring lace.
    s) Aromatic, perfume, tropical blossom more than fruit flesh.
    t) Follows the floral, tropical, honeyed aroma notes. Backed up by the peppery, hempy, spice cabinet finale.
    f) Smooth, inviting, abv hidden, slightly hot/ peppery more than citric, astringent.
    o) Like this better than other written reviews.

Loved their stout (what you dont see) 2nd beer from KC NY.
5 hops, 3 grains, just misses for me. Found at WFM 07701.
    a) very creamy, dense off white 1 finger head that lasts and laces over applesauce body.
    s) Melon, cedar, hemp, tropical fruit salad.
    t) Follows smell but more ample, lots of flakey oats.
    f) Just a tad chalky, flaky.
    o) Another fine effort
