Can of Brewdog Hazy Jane. NEIPA style with lots of citrus. 7.2% but goes down smoothly and at $2.95 Canadian is a steal. Only have 2 dozen cans left unfortunately and is now discontinued here

Dang it. These New Image BIG NELSONs are the only thing that comes close, and not really that close, to the hallucinogenic powers of the Waldo's. No distro here that I can see for the 2nd year running and I'm not.... too bitter about it NOT AT ALL. Dammit.

Ted Nugent one guy I think got pretty lucky. Never thought he was very good. Can listen to Stranglehold thats about it and even that gets tiring. Hes up there with Def Leppard as one of the most annoying bands for me.

I gotta say, the difference is the opening sweetness. New Ocelot has more of it up front, old school version from Front Royal has it on the edges.

I have not been on for weeks and right now I am drinking a Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA. I am sad to find that Scream has passed.

He brought a smile to me every time I saw one of his one line Voodoo Ranger posts, and the kind comments on mine over my short tenure here.

I hope to join you this weekend to celebrate Scream and I will be hoisting some Voodoo Rangers.

I was going to use a file foto but dang it I could not find one. So here is my almost gone VRJH-IPA. A belated cheers to Scream.

After a kinda boring day at work, (except for the sorting and tagging 24 rare bottles of whiskey part) I'm ready for a thirst quencher from Freeport, Maine.

I just get excited when you dabble

 

I had to erase my original review of that beer, on account of it having been an inept growler fill by an inexperienced employee back in 2014, shortly after they first opened their doors. Perry Street has won gold at GABF twice in the last 4 yrs, including this beer for the IPA category last year. Not bad at all for a small, neighborhood brewery that barely has a distribution footprint even within Spokane. They didn't even start crowling their beers until the first re-opening last summer.
