I'm one of those "canned beer" beer guys, so I keep my IPA's to Centennial and Two Hearted, so it's nice to see this canned.

I care for the original on Wrecking Ball....

    This is awesome......

What's not to love about the late, great Johnny Cash!

Yes, thanks as it was a bit too late anyway. I assume it’s fresh based on taste only (!). Cheers.

    Canned on 3-27
This beer pours pitch black. When pouring from the can, there's a 3 finger tan head. The head retention is ok. There's also some lacing on the glass.
The nose is a nice mixture of chocolate and peanut butter. The chocolate seems on the sweet side, but not too sweet.
Taste - a very pleasing chocolate and peanut butter flavor. Chocolate is more up front, and isn't too sweet, but there's some there. On the back the peanut butter kicks in.
Decent body, Good for the style.
    Delicious beer.

Sunny and low 60s on the patio at HiJo Brewing. Had a pint of the Brewer’s Breakfast - oatmeal milk stout conditioned with coffee.

Been busy with work and HOA stuff the last few days, so haven't been able to check in at the virtual bar...missed Herbie Hancock's birthday on Monday, he turned 81.

Drinking a True Anomaly Small Giant Grisette.

    Spinning the magnificent Mwandishi.

He doesn’t but it was another attempt at a pun with the ongoing pandemic .

We have a cough syrup in Canada called Buckley’s. For decades their catch phrase has been: “It tastes awful and it works.” Cheers.

It's a lifestyle thing. The beer, not the pandemic

Sanibel is awesome. Used to visit during Christmas/New Year’s trips to my parents in Fort Myers Beach. Some of the best sea shelling in the world in those places. Cheers.

They do it with humour and have been around forever, so if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Okay, I suppose a sixer of Corona is on my purchase list for when the weather makes it palatable again. With some lime and on a hot day I’d agree that it isn’t that bad.

Have a good Wednesday. Me and Julia went to Tommy's in Cleveland Heights, which is a Vegan centric restaurant one of my second cousins owns. I had 2 bowls of broccoli risso and the turkey burger. Mint Chocolate Chip Shake. She had hummus and spinach and baba ganouch pie. It was amazing. I hate Euclid Ave at rush hour though :grimacing: We are watching It's always Sunny in Philadelphia and I am lit up.

Also we went to the book store next door. I also grabbed the Clancy op center book 1. Amazing finds. The shining was the only new book. Rest were 4 or less. Ludlum was 2.

Great hazy IPA. Lasting fluffy head/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, white grapefruit, apricot, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, citrus peel/rind, wood, pepper, pine, wheat, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium body; creamy/bready wheat, some sticky and resinous hops in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Minimal warming 6.2% or lingering hop burn. Great hop lineup in the commercial description, great softness, spot on for the style. Glad I had more. Good thing I get them in Ohio now. Need to get more of their stuff. 4.03

FUUUUCK, I want to learn this song on guitar by ear so bad. I just need the time. I know its probably just a standard 7 string tuning.
